Joseph Braxton Miller, 99, of Ft. Belvoir, VA passed away on September 14, 2017 at his home.
Following Charlotte’s death in 1998, Joe married Isabelle Lennon and moved to Branson, MO where he enjoyed the attention and companionship of the extended Lennon family. He left Branson in 2005 upon Isabelle’s death and returned to Maryland where he met and married Rose Anne Lamoy. They lived together in Ft. Belvoir, VA until Rose’s death in 2013.
Joe’s daughter, Charlotte Ann, preceded him in death, but Joe’s life is remembered by seven living children: Stephen, Philip, Thomas, Teresa, Daniel, Christopher and Peter. Sharing their recollections are the children’s spouses, over 30 grandchildren and more than 50 great-grandchildren. His legacy includes many smiles and encouragements, good stories, enthusiastic songs and charming manners born out of respect for everyone that he met.
