Joseph Artinger, 66, of Salisbury Township, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the devoted husband of Sharon G. (Kopfer) Artinger, with whom he shared over 35 years of loving marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Buskaritz) Artinger. Joe worked as a Maintenance Planner for Air Products for 43 years until retiring in 2015. He was a former member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Fullerton as well as the Mercantile Club in Emmaus. Joe enjoyed coaching football with his son and was cherished by all the coaches and players he came in contact with. Joe lived with high morals, loyalty and devotion to his family and friends. He was always quick with a joke and the life of the party. Above all Joe was a family man and the love that he and the love of his life Sharon had cultivated, lives on through their children and his loving granddaughter Cameron who he adored. Joe’s happiest days over the past two years were spent caring for his Cami and watching her grow from an infant to a toddler.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Sharon; son Nicholas J. Artinger (Danielle) of Hanover Twp.; daughter Natalie R. Artinger (Derek) of Allentown and his loving granddaughter Cameron.
Other survivors: Lillian Wallitsch, Lorraine Fliszar, John Artinger and Matt Artinger. He was predeceased by Tom Buskaritz and Francis Artinger.
