Joseph Anthony Pinto, age 92, Thursday August 21, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Ida Stephens Pinto (July 20, 2014), son Timothy Aloysius Pinto, parents Salvatore and Filomena Romano Pinto (from Rosetto, Italy), brothers Anthony and Daniel, sisters Mary Feen and Susie Pinto, great granddaughter Gianna Cato. Lifetime resident of Franklinton and a lifetime member of Holy Family Church. Veteran WWII 37th Infantry Division Signal Corp. Retired from DCSC. Past member of the Piave Club. Survived by sons Joseph (Nancy), Dominic (Vanessa), and Stephen (Joyce) Pinto; grandchildren ; Joely, Michael, Keisha, Catherine, Christopher, Stephanie, Jennifer and Scott; 15 great grandchildren; sister Katherine (Babe) Davis; sisters-in-law Ellen (Richard) Nadalin and Rita Albee; brother in-law John Stephens; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
