Joseph Arnold Anthony, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 28, 2019, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
Joseph was born March 28, 1931, in Grace, Idaho, to Harry M. Anthony and Juneita Hansen Anthony. He grew up and attended schools in Grace, Idaho and Missoula, Montana. He moved to Idaho Falls in 1961.
On February 28, 1953, he married Barbara Pauline Drinville in Missoula, Montana. To this union were born four children, Joseph, Carman, Barbara, and Roger. Joseph and Barbara made their home in Idaho Falls where Joseph worked as a dishwasher.
He enjoyed tinkering and working on things.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Carman (Mohamed) Elawadly of Shelley, ID; son, Joe Anthony of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Barbara Ann (William) Geiger of Moses Lake, WA; son, Roger (Alicia) Price of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Marlene (Leroy) Boone of Missoula, MT; 20 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and June Anthony; wife, Pauline Anthony; brothers, Frank and Conrad Anthony; sisters, Afton, Jean, and Donna Anthony; grandsons, Samuel Geiger and Joshua Rand; and great grandson, Alan Howard.
