A longtime resident of Union, New Jersey, Joseph was part owner of Newark Spinning and Stamping in Hillside, New Jersey, and toolmaker and machinist for Engelhard Industries in Carteret, New Jersey. He was also a member of the Elks Club in Hillside, New Jersey.

Joseph was an avid gardener of fruits, vegetables, and roses and was a devoted fisherman. He shared his joy of fishing and boating with his family on weekends and vacations. Upon retirement, he moved to Florida where the ocean was now in his backyard, and he learned how to play golf. He had a pretty good “short game.”

Dad, you are “no longer by our sides, but forever in our hearts;” you will be missed by everyone, especially your cat Morris, your longtime companion.
