Joseph Alexander Cesarz, age 80 of Trenton, passed away December 8, July 17, 1940 in Detroit to the late John Joseph and Justine Mary (Sekcinski) Cesarz. Proud graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School (1958), Michigan State University (1962), and Wayne State University (1964), paving his way for 35 years of employment with the Ford Motor Company as a Research and Development Mechanical Engineer, retiring in May 19, 1967, he became the loving husband of 53 years to Janet Marie (Crisco). Dear father of Karen Marie (Bryan) Biagioli and Joseph Alexander (Kellie) Cesarz, Jr. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Alexander, Carson, McCoy, Beau, and Maya. Also survived by a sister-in-law Mary Cesarz and numerous nieces and nephews.Sadly, in addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by brother John Cesarz, Jr., sister Justine Godzik, and brother-in-law Edward Godzik.Joseph was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Parish in Trenton, Lifetime NRA member, the Michigan Amputee Golf Association, and numerous engineering societies. He also coached AYSO soccer for 16 years. As involved as Joseph was, there was nothing he cherished more than spending time with his family and friends. Joseph enjoyed deer hunting, both rifle and bow, with his son, son-in-law, and grandsons, traveling the US with his wife Janet, taking the grandkids to Disney and the zoo, and attending the multitude of sporting events they were participating in.
