Joseph Adam Caccamo, 36, of Milan, IL died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.
Joseph Adam Caccamo was born Feb. 12, 1977 in Fort Wayne, Ind., a son of Joseph D. and Caroline Caccamo. He married Kelly J. Summers on Apr. 5, 2003 in Carmel, Ind. He received his Associates Degree in Paramedical Sciences from the Lutheran College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne. Joe graduated from the University St. Francis, Fort Wayne with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and had dual majors in biology and chemistry.
Joe enjoyed life, the outdoors, sports, and was committed to learning. He was a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University. Joe lived, loved and laughed every day and wanted to be surrounded by his family. He was the Best Husband, Dad, Brother, Son, Friend and Practical Joker that touched the lives of those fortunate enough to be around him. Joe wanted to make a difference in the world and lived his life each day helping someone. He helped heal people through his knowledge of medicine or by providing support through his gentle nature and humor. He will dearly be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly; children Avery Ann (8), Joseph Andrew “Drew” (7), Addison Grace (6), Macey Catherine (3), and Dawson Daay (2); his parents, Joseph D.
