Joseph A. ‘Armand” Pincince, 100, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the home of his daughter Denise Caffrey. Previously, he was a resident of Kennedy Manor. He was the loving husband of the late Laurette (Joyal) Pincince for 64 years. Armand was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Albert and Eugenie (Sarasin) Pincince. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran serving in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He worked in maintenance at the Quonset Naval Air Station and later worked for the Woonsocket School Dept in maintenance, retiring in 1974. Armand was a member of the St. Joseph’s Senior Citizens, the St. Joseph’s Veterans’ Association, the D.A.V., and was a former Vice President of the Woonsocket Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union. He was a hardworking man of many talents who built his own home, and enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and toys for his family. Armand was smart, kind and incredibly patient. He enjoyed gardening, travel, gambling, and most of all cracking jokes with those he loved. Armand’s wit, charm and smile will be forever missed. In addition to his loving daughter Denise and her husband William of Warwick, he is survived by his grandson Michael Caffrey and his fiancée Sheleen, his granddaughter Michelle Caffrey, his goddaughter Claudette Plante, and many other nieces and nephews whom he adored. He was the brother of the late: Adelard and Edward Pincince, Celina Carpentier, Anna Gingras, Marie Rose Lepine, Malvina Dusablon, and Marie Ange Grillo.
