Joseph Lombardi, 81, of East Hampton, NY and formerly of Jersey City passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 10, 2023. Joe is preceded by the love of his life Nicola, who passed away in 2018. Joe grew up in Jersey City, he was the middle son to Anthony and Madeline Lombardi.
Joe was a proud Veteran who served during Vietnam. Joe went on after his service to begin his career in international importing. He worked in the World Trade Center for Zust Ambrosetti for many years before starting Provender International with his wife Niki in 1985. Niki and Joe were legendary people not only to their numerous colleagues in the Specialty Food Industry, but amongst their many dear friends and family members.
Joseph was a devoted father to Lauren and her husband Andrew; cherished grandfather to Daniel and Samuel; loving brother to Charles Lombardi and his wife Margarita, Anthony Lombardi and his wife Dee; loving nephew to Catherine Colacurcio. Also survived by my many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family across the world.
