Caruso 1934~2021Joseph A, age 86, born September 20, 1934, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his daughter’s home on March 23, grew up in Philadelphia/Upper Darby. He graduated St. Thomas Moore and went on to Quaker School of Aeronautics. He worked for Pan Am and British Airways and many other airlines before retiring from Virgin Atlantic Airlines. Joe loved to travel and have fun, but most of all he loved to prank his family and friends and make people laugh. Joe was predeceased by his son Gregory Caruso on August 29, is survived by his daughter Brenda Donati- Gormley, her husband David of Delaware, and his son Bob Caruso of Georgia, his stepchildren Carolyn Hart and her husband Derrick of Texas, and Rob Stevenson and his wife Mandy of Arizona, his grandchildren, Danielle Donati, Nick Caruso, Ciara Donati, Steven Caruso, Michelle Caruso, Bella Murtoff, Ethan Murtoff, his great grandson Caiden Osborne, and his sister Natalie is also survived by his two former wives Frances Caruso and Helen Richardson-Caruso. Joe was predeceased by his brothers Peter Caruso and John Caruso, and many loved brother and sister in-laws. Joe is survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. His beloved best friend Chivas (his dog) was at the gates of Heaven to greet him.
