Josefina Moreno, 80, Boerne passed away on February 26, 2022.
Josie was born on January, 30, 1942 to Roman and Benita Huerta. Josie was a woman of faith, happiness and love for all. She retired from the local Boerne Wal-Mart. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Her love for singing and dancing was unmeasurable. Her favorite colors were red & pink.
She truly enjoyed every moment she spent with family and friends. You always knew when you went to her house she was going to feed you and be so happy to see you. She spent so much of her time praying for whomever was in need of prayer. She was such a strong woman.
She is survived by her son, Norman Moreno; her daughters, Dolores (Abel) Arredondo and Elena (Carlos) Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Amanda White, Westley Arredondo, Justin Arredondo, Gabriela Moreno, Cristina Moreno, Adriana Moreno, Daniela Moreno, Aaron Moreno, Johanna Esquivel, Jaden Moreno, Anthony Moreno, Carlos Rodriguez, Selest Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, Dominick Rodriguez, Layla Rodriguez and Larissa Rodriguez; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hector Abel Moreno, Sr.; and her sons, Hector Abel, Jr. and Mario Moreno.
Our family wants to thank everyone for all the love, support, kind words and prayers from so many.
