Jose Gabriel Varela, 86 of Scottsdale, passed away on December, 15, 2015. Born in Mexico, he came to Arizona 39 years ago. He was preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe. Survived by his sister, Maria Elena Valenzuela and many nieces and nephews.
Jose liked to travel go out to eat, and spend time with family. He was a devout Catholic and devoted to the Virgin of Guadalupe.
