Jose O. Cajen, 73, of Alamogordo, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2008 at his home. Mr. Cajen was born June 21, 1934 in Las Cruces, NM to Nicolas and Ygnacia (Ornelas) Cajen. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a machinist for many years for Union Carbide.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice; his second wife, Mela; his parents; a daughter, Anna Liza Check and a sister, Alice Duran.
Survivors include his children, Mike Cajen and wife, Julie, Joe Cajen, Jr. all of California, James Cajen of Clarksville, TN, Maria Elena Laubenbacher and husband Reinhard of Blacksburg, VA and Martin Cajen and wife, Era of Alamogordo; six grandchildren, one great granddaughter; his sister, Dora Zug and husband, Herb of Lancaster, PA and special friend, Patricia Schiffli.
