Jose Manuel Gonzalez, 64, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Saturday, October 12th at West Haven Veterans’ Hospital. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Francisco and Juana (Gomez) Gonzalez. Jose was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by two sons, Jose M. Gonzalez, Jr. of NJ and Edward Batista of Meriden; two daughters, Subrina Gonzalez of Middletown and Maribel L. Gonzalez of NJ; a sister, Elmin Cortes of FL and eight grandchildren.
