Jose (Joe) Ampudia, 62, of Hoboken, New Jersey, passed away at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Joe was an avid fisherman and golfer. He truly enjoyed the outdoors. He was a superintendent for several housing complexes during his career in several communities and recently retired. Joe was a talented person and could diagnosis a plumbing problem and find an easy solution.
Mr. Ampudia was predeceased by his mother, Elda Natividad Ampudia in October 2020. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Nancy (nee Florio) and a daughter, Briget Truglia and her husband, Phil Truglia. He is also survived by his father, Jose Ampudia, and a beautiful granddaughter, Ava Truglia. Joe has three sisters, Lourdes Shinnick and her husband, John, Ana Ampudia, and Christina Ampudia. Also surviving Joe are his in-laws Charlene and Dave Florio and several nieces and nephews: Alana Mele, Mariel Shinnick, Jose Ampudia, Aidan Gonzalez, Jacyann Menta, and Alyssa Florio.
