Jose Jesus Alaniz Jr., age 64, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. He was born June 25, 1957, in Harlingen to Jose Jesus Sr. and Librada Gonzalez Alaniz. Jose was retired from Calvary Christian School after several years in custodial services. He was previously employed with Walmart for 18 years as maintenance manager. He will be dearly missed.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents Jose Jesus Alaniz Sr. and Librada G. Alaniz.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving wife of 44 years, Martha Lydia Alaniz; two daughters, Yesenia Alaniz Vanessa Alaniz; seven sons, Pedro Jonathan Alaniz, Jose Alaniz III, Bryan Rios, Antonio Gonzalez, Leo Gonzales, Jesse Valdez and Gilbert Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Alfaro; four grandchildren, Jeriel Carlos Cardenas, Jazzlynn Sierra Cardenas, Jake Ryan Alfaro, and Abigail Marie Alaniz; sister, Christina Gonzalez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Inurnment will follow at Ashland Cemetery in Harlingen, Texas.
