Jose Guadalupe Borrego, 65, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Retama Manor in Harlingen. He was born on September 20, 1950 to Enrique and Martina Borrego and was a lifetime resident of Harlingen, Texas. Jose served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his son, Harvey Borrego; his parents; and brother Francisco Javier Borrego.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Maria Treto Borrego; daughter, Veronica Guevara (Pablo); 3 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Amy Borrego; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
