Jose Angel Rubio Pavon, 12, of Brighton, passed away peacefully at his home in Brighton. He was born in Denver, CO to Jorge Rubio Michel and Angela Pavon Esparza On February 19, 2000.
Jose was a very loving human being with a very gentle spirit. He attended school at North Elementary where he had numerous friends. He loved to be around people and loved the outdoors. Jose loved puppies and his family. He was very close to his older brother, Jorge and his younger sister, Paulina.
It was his dream to become a police officer and in May 2012 Brighton Police Dept. fulfilled his dream by making him an honorary police officer.
He is survived by his parents, Jorge Michel of Mexico and Angela Pavon Esparza of Brighton; siblings Jorge Rubio Pavon and Paulina Rubio Pavon, both of Brighton. Other survivors include his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
Jose is preceded in death by his uncle, Jesus Pavon.
