Jonathan Lamb peacefully slipped away at 5:45 a.m. on March 1, 2017, after battling lung cancer. He is survived by his mother Lynn Mary Colwell, his brothers Spence Hall Lamb V and Joseph Mason Lamb, and his step sister Kim Colwell-Walter. Jonathan was born in Memphis, Tennessee and last resided along the beautiful waters of the Grand Marina in Alameda, California. He has countless friends and chosen families in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and other locales. Lamby was a true epicurean Lambicorn spirit devoted to his culinary craft while enjoying and sharing the fruits of his labor with his many loved ones. He also enjoyed success in the food industry managing his own catering company and also during his time employed at Buca di Beppo and Starbucks. His smile, laugh, and wit were unmistakably unique. The same could be said for his giving, loyal heart. He was always deeply concerned with the state of the world and the well-being of others, especially for children and oppressed minorities. We all will miss our Lamby yet we know he is always with us in spirit.
