Jonathan “Jon” Damon Keeton, age 41, of Clearfield, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead after an extended illness.

 

Born July 4, 1980, in Kettering, Ohio, Jon is the son of Donald Ted Keeton and Loretta Combs Keeton of West Liberty.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by the mother of his children and the love of his life, Elizabeth May; his four children, Ellie Keeton, Willow Keeton, Jonah Keeton, Jonathan “Tucker” Keeton, all of Clearfield; three brothers, Carl Douglas Keeton of West Liberty, Paul David Keeton (Carmen) of Springfield, Ohio, and Daniel Alan Keeton of New Carlisle, Ohio; two sisters, Leah Marie Burgess (Gene Dailey) and Lisa Joy Sidenstick (Cory), all of Huber Heights, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Keeton of Springfield, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends survive.   

 

Jon was a graduate of Morgan County High School and a graduate of Maysville Community Technical College specializing in HVAC. He was a former meat cutter at J&L Butcher Shop in Medway, Ohio.  Jon lived and breathed music and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching various sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love.

 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Nelson Keeton; paternal grandparents, Nelson and Mae Stephens Keeton; and maternal grandparents, Goodloe and Leona Grigsby Combs.
