Jonathan H. Hawkins, 37, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 9, 1985, in Lafayette, to Paul and Cynthia (Turnipseed) Hawkins.
Jonathan attended Jefferson high school
On October 17, 2015, he married Tammy Young in West Lafayette and she survives.
Jonathan worked as a butcher and cook for South Street Smokehouse as well as a few other restaurants in the Tippecanoe County area.
He was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and enjoyed playing the harmonica, swimming in the Wild Cat creek, camping with his family, sitting around the fire pit, setting off fireworks and anything involving his family.
Surviving with his wife and parents are children, Jayda Stewart, Aaron Hawkins and Jackson Hawkins all of Lafayette, two brothers, Jim (wife Amber) Hawkins of Fishers and Jeff (wife Stacy) Hawkins of Bourbonnais, IL.
