Mr. Jonathan E. Kachila, age 57, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Milford.
He was born on March 5, 1952 in Ilion, NY to the late Peter and Marjorie Haupt Kachila and was a longtime resident of Milford. Jonathan graduated from Milford High School, class of 1970, where he was an accomplished athlete. He attended Georgetown University and was a graduate of UConn, School of Pharmacy.
Survivors include two sisters, Judith Kachila Kurtz of East Greenwich, RI, and Elizabeth Kachila Beck and her husband John of Glastonbury, a brother, Peter W. Kachila of Florida, and five nieces and nephews, David and Allan Kurtz, Laura and Andrew Beck and Fred Altieri and his wife Susan. He also leaves a grandniece, Persephone Altieri, two aunts, Elinor Fajen of Milford, Ann Kachila Elberty of California, and an uncle, Jack Lyons of Pennsylvania, and several cousins.
