Mr. Jonathan David Griffin, 53, of Burlington died on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Burlington.
A native of Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Becky JoAnn Bailey Griffin and Julian Parks Griffin, who survives. A graduate of Hargrave Military Academy, David was a veteran and paratrooper for the U. S. Army and a former sales consultant. He was a member of New Life at Hocutt Church. He formerly played football and baseball and had a lifelong love of fishing.
In addition to his father of Burlington, survivors include two daughters, McKenna Griffin Beddingfield and husband, Byron, of Raleigh and Madeleine Anne Griffin of Gibsonville; two sisters, Patti Griffin Hope and husband, Frank, of Burlington and Rebecca Griffin Jones and husband, Steve, of Raleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Griffin Tucker and a nephew, Christopher Brian Hope.
