Jon Breck Quarles, age 60, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, the 22nd day of April 2022, and is residing at his eternal home in Heaven. Jon was born on the 28th day of September 1961, in Houston, Texas, to parents Billy C. Quarles and Dora Hortman Quarles.
Jon lived a fulfilling life. He truly enjoyed life and everything it had to offer. Jon had an outgoing personality and made friends with countless people all over the world. Jon could best be described “as a man who knew a lot about a lot of things”. He was very knowledgeable when it came to computers, including building and programming. Jon worked at American Water Systems since 1993. He was dedicated to his job and always made his customers a priority.
Jon enjoyed music, played the guitar, and was a sports enthusiast. His favorite teams to cheer on included the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and he went to all the University of Houston football games. Jon also loved participating in Fantasy Football and helping others with their teams. Jon cherished the times he was able to spend with his brother, “Bubba”, playing golf. Jon excelled at playing darts and pushed himself as a cyclist. Jon was a well-rounded, fun loving man whose absence will be forever felt.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy C. Quarles; mother, Dora Quarles; and his pets that he adored, Ruth a white chocolate Lab, Leo a Leopard Gecko, and several other pets.
Jon leaves behind his son Keanan Connell; brothers, Paul Quarles and wife Terry of Round Rock, Texas, and Norman “Bubba” Quarles and wife Janice of Houston, Texas; nephews, Neil Quarles and Casey Quarles; niece, Kelly Quarles and husband Shawn Miramon. Jon is also survived by his special friend, Yolanda Reyes; friend, Bob McDonald; and many other friends.
