Johnny Wright, age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Wright was born on July 31, 1941 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late William Clayton Wright and Ola Isle Nipper Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brianna Gilliard and a brother, Jake Wright.
Survivors include his wife, LaRue H. Wright of Douglas, GA; four children, Jonna Pearce (Richard) of Douglas, GA, Caroline McGovern (Kevin) of Willacoochee, GA, Chip Wright (Becky) of West Green, GA and Rodney Corbitt (Kathy) of Talbott, TN; nine grandchildren, Kam Corbitt, Kalin Corbitt, Corey Wright (Caitlin) Cody Dale (Gabe), Keegan McGovern, Kelcey McGovern, Ellasyn Pearce, Liam Pearce and Willa Pearce; two great grandchildren, Kammie Corbitt and Sophie Dale; brother, Gerald “Pud” Wright (Shirley) of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews.
