Johnny Spreen, 58, of Manahawkin, also known as Jesus Johnny went home to be with the Lord due to complications from heart surgery. John was a painter by profession. He attended bayside chapel of Barnegat. His passion was music and he was a multi talented musician and artist.
He played the drums, guitar and piano. He wrote and sang all of his own music and recorded many cd’s with his long time friend Doug Paris. Johnny loved life, music, and most of all he loved his savior Jesus Christ, and he made sure he told everyone about him.
He is survived by his sister Susan Bariexca and her husband Gus, his middle sister Carla Nacca, and his younger sister Linda DellaPietro and her husband Sam, his closest cousin who was like a brother David Taylor, his nieces and nephews Carla and Dolly Bariexca and Jackie and Mike Nacca and many other loving family members and friends.
