Johnny Ray Baughman, age 67, passed away on Sunday at his residence. Born in Burke County, he was the son of the late Jack Leon Baughman and the late Betty Jean Frady Kirby. He was formerly employed as a welder with AP Parts, was a Veteran of the US Army and a member of the American Legion Post 11.
Mr. Baughman is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Baughman; a son, Jeb Christopher Hart; a brother, Dusty Roberts; a sister, Wanda Lawling; two grandchildren; step brother, Doug Kirby; step sister, Kathy Washington; his faithful companion, his dog, “Stacey”.
