Johnny Mack Driver, aged 69, gently left this world in the peaceful surroundings of his home on August 12, 2016. He was born in Carrollton, Georgia on January 9, 1947 and was the son of the late Buford Franklin and Virginia Estelle Walton Driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Frances Blake. His education was in the Carroll County Schools. After high school, he joined the United States Army and was trained as a medical corpsman. His working career was in telecommunications as an employee of Bell South and he retired in 2002. For Johnny, the simple things in life were of utmost importance and included friends, family and a great love of the outdoors with camping being a great way to relax and unwind. Johnny is survived by his wife Debbie Stiles Driver. His sons are Jason Scott Driver and Kyle F. Blake and his wife Sara. He is the proud grandfather of two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are his siblings Ann Roberson, Jerry B. Driver and Tammy Watts. He is also survived by Debbie’s siblings Tina Turner and her husband Earl, Curtis Stiles and his wife Cindy. Of great importance to Johnny was his furry friend JoJo, who was forever by his side.
