Long, Johnny Albert, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 in a local hospital Following a brief illness. He was 68. Mr. Long was born in Riceville Tennessee On July 8, 1935, he later lived in Chattanooga for many years. He was a graduate Of Central High School where he was known as “Guitar Johnny.” He was well Known for his impersonations of Bugs Bunny and the Tennessee Pride Country Sausage Boy, he loved performing bluegrass music. Over the years he played and Sang with such notable bands as the Hightop Mountain Boys, Grasscutters, Tennessee Grass, Lookout Mountain Boys and several others.
