Mr. Johnnie Malvin Wilson, 70, a resident of 608 Runyon Drive, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at his residence.
A native of Marlboro County, Johnnie was born April 27, 1937 to the late Zack Peele and Lula Wilson. He had been a resident of High Point for 52 years. He was employed with High Point Sprinkler for 27 years and retired from Sunland Fire Protection after 20 years of service. He was and active member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Board and Transportation Committee until his health declined.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Curtis Wilson, Wallace Wilson, Cleveland Wilson, and Willie Wilson; sisters Rosa Gidderon, Odessa Turner and Pearl Graham.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn L.
