He was born on November 22, 1948, in Atlanta, GA to the late Felix Lamar Bishop and Lily Mae Smallwood Bishop. Johnnie is survived by his children, Johnathan Bishop, Gregory Bishop, Christopher Bishop, Felicia Holt and Nathaniel Bishop. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
