John William Stedelin John William Stedelin, 39 of Odin, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 26, 1978 in Centralia, son of John Michael Stedelin and Marilyn (Richardson) Roberts. He married Michelle Heinemann on May 14, 2005 and she survives in Odin.

In addition to his wife of 12 years, his parents: John Michael Stedelin and wife Dawn of Huey and Marilyn Roberts and husband Doug of Centralia, he is also survived by seven children: Seth Stedelin, Zackery Stedelin, Jessica Stedelin, Faith Stedelin, Emily Stedelin, Alice Stedelin, and Adah Stedelin; a brother: Joe Stedelin and wife Kristen of Walnut Hill; a sister: Katie Markotay and husband Travis of Centralia; a step brother: Jarrod Ashby and wife Crystal; step sisters: Brook Stewart and husband Jim, Lori Goeckner and husband Jed, Lesli Dahlberg and husband Dave, Laci Koester and husband Craig; father and mother-in-law: Dave Heinemann and wife Joan of Patoka; a niece, three nephews, and a niece and nephew on the way; a brother-in-law: David Heinemann and wife Sarah; three sisters-in-law: Kim Lamprecht and husband Dustin, Kristen Beranek and husband Dan, Jenny Griffin and husband Craig; several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dr. John and Dorothy Stedelin and Ralph and Mary Richardson. John was a Certified Journeyman Farrier and owned Stedelin Farrier Services for 17 years. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and doing black smith projects.

He was very devoted with reading his Bible and sharing the Word. John served others who were in need and he always had a project in the works. He was a member of Calumet Street Christian Street in Centralia, where he served as a Deacon. He was also a Tester and a Team Alternate for the American Farriers Association. John’s biggest blessing in life was his family. He loved spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoyed going to the Rodeo to watch his children ride.
