John William McDaniel, 67 of Fellowsville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Mon General Hospital with family by his side. He was born May 6, 1948 in Newburg, son of the late Donald H and Ethel M Goff McDaniel. He loved hunting, collecting coins, mowing grass and working around the house. John retired as a Core Driller for Triad Engineering and previously worked for Tinney Drilling and Lambert Drilling in Bridgeville, PA with a total of over forty three years in the industry. John is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Sue Sheets McDaniel of Fellowsville, one son, Brendon William McDaniel and wife Marsha, Denver; one daughter, Leigh Ann Price and husband Michael, Cameron, NC; five granddaughters, Bethanie Broadrick and Adrian, Grafton, Kathleen McDaniel, Denver, Taleah Fox and Crystal, Sanford, NC, Amber Price and Taylor Price all of Cameron, NC; one grandson, Johnathan Michael Price, Cameron, NC; two brothers, James McDaniel and wife Teresa of Newburg, David McDaniel and Bobby Poling of Fellowsville, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by one grandson, Todd McQuinn, one sister, Sylvia Ann McDaniel, son-in-law, Brian McQuinn.
