John William Labenne Jr. 64 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday January 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 24, 1954 in Clarksburg, son of the late John William Labenne Sr. and Wilma June Starkey Labenne. John worked in construction most of his life. He could build and fix anything. He was a football player in High School and his hobbies were hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Dorsey and husband Adam, Morgantown; five siblings, Linda Thorn, Clarksburg, Ginger Stonebreaker and husband Danny, Lumberport, Mark Labenne and wife Wanda, Clarksburg, Wayne Labenne and wife Tonya, Spelter, Elaine Labenne, Clarksburg; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by two sisters, Gloria Schmidt and Kathy Labenne. John will be cremated.
