John White, age 56, of Livermore passed away on January 10, 2017 at his home. John Robert White, the son of Robert and Betty Mae (Miller) White, was born on April 10, 1960 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Twin Rivers High School in 1978. John had worked as an auto mechanic his whole life. He retired in 2016 due to health reasons. John was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Livermore, Sons of the American Legion in Livermore, a 28 year member of the Livermore Volunteer Fire Department where he served as the Chief for 10 years. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing and raising pigeons. John is survived by many cousins, friends and his dog Lady. He was preceded in death by his parents.
