John Westgate, age 67, of Niles, died peacefully Monday, April 1, 2019 in the comfort of his family’s presence. He was born June 29, 1951 in Dowagiac to Paul and Mary Westgate. He married Kathy Klockow on May 21, 2000 in Granger, Indiana. She survives. John will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by wife, Kathy Westgate of Jones; daughter, Kandi Westgate of Centerville; sisters, Margaret Young of Niles, Susan Westgate of Elkhart, Indiana; brothers, Thomas (Mary) Westgate of Berrien Center, Kenneth (Susan) Westgate of Kalamazoo, Paul Jeffery (Debbie) Westgate of Niles; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Vincent Allen Vantuyle; and brother-in-law, John Young.
