John Wayne Hostetter, 42, of Route 2, Clarksburg, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011, at the home of his sister in Davisville, WV following an extended illness. He was born February 6, 1969 in Abington, Pennsylvania the son of Homer C. Hostetter and Jean Hostetter and Ann Kerner Logan. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Marsha Leary Hostetter; seven children John W. Hostetter, Jr. (Powell), Johnathan Hostetter (Dunn), Austin Hostetter (Dunn) Tanna Hostetter, Joseph “JoJo” Hostetter, McKenzie Hostetter and Carl Hostetter; one brother Jamy Porter of Kansas City, MO; four sisters; Debbie Cipolla and husband Kurt of Quakertown, PA, Virginia Louise Sneed and husband Todd of Haughton, LA, Leslie Book and husband Perry Book of Bastrop, LA and Rose Ann McDowell and husband Carl “Bear” of Davisville, WV and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother; Carl Hostetter. Mr. Hostetter worked in maintenance for Industrial Mountaineer Resources. He loved to ride 4-wheelers; enjoyed reading the bible, loved being around his family, loved his children and was a caring husband. He will be deeply missed by all.
