John W. Menne, 68, of 539 Route 973 East, Cogan Station, died, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
John and his wife, the former Shirley F. Hester, observed their 46th wedding anniversary on January 16, 2010.
John was a member of the Hepburn Baptist Church and an Army veteran.
John enjoyed doing yard work and gardening around his house, watching football and spending time with his wife and family.
Born November 1, 1941 in Williamsport, he was the son of John C. and Evelyn Mae Wright Menne.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Kim Y. (Andy Kendall) Menne of Williamsport; grandchildren, Alicia Menne and Nicholas Kendall; step grandchildren, Andrew and Joshua Kendall; great grandchildren, Preston Bacon and McKenzie Kendall.
John was predeceased by a brother, William K. Menne.
