Prospect – Mr. John W. “Butch” “Cold Cuts” “Kwa” Kwasinskas, Jr. age 73, of Prospect, died Tuesday January 6, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the husband of Cynthia Marie (Camerota) Kwasinskas.
Mr. Kwasinskas was born in Newport, Rhode Island on February 19, 1941 son of the late John W. and Cora (Andrea) Kwasinskas. He was retired as a meat cutter from LaBonne’s Market and formerly worked at Fulton Market, Waterbury Beef, Ideal Food Markets and Olivers Market. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox, and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors, and was a former member of the Elks.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Kwasinskas is survived by two daughters; Kimberly Petracca and her husband Steve of Prospect and Karen Orsini and her husband Troy of Wolcott, a son: John J. Kwasinskas and his wife Sarah of Naugatuck four grandchildren: Steven Petracca, Nicholle Petracca, Samantha Orsini and Madison Kwasinskas and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister: Sheila Ann Doyle.
