John W. “Jack” Burwell, age 76, of Noblesville, IN died August 31, 2013 at his home. He was born November 21, 1936 at Arcadia, IN to James M. and Alice Lucille (Merrik) Burwell.
Jack, as he was affectionately known, was a graduate of Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1954. He the served his country in the U.S. Army from January 1955 to November of 1957. He then worked for 31 years as an inspector for Chrysler Corporation at Kokomo, IN. Upon his retirement from Chrysler Corporation, Jack, an avid horseman, became employed at Hoosier Park and Racing Casino where he worked for 15 years.
