He was educated in the Alamance School system and graduated from Central High School in Graham, NC. John attended First Baptist Church in Burlington, NC and enjoyed the peace and quiet of fishing, hunting and attending to his tomato garden. If he was not enjoying being outside, he could be found watching his favorite basketball team, the Carolina Tarheels. He worked at Burlington Industries where he retired after thirty eight years of service as a supervisor.
John leaves to cherish his memories his loving and dedicated wife, Louise Best Enoch, sons John Thomas Enoch Jr. (Wanda) of Greensboro, NC, Jason Enoch (Samantha) of Cary, NC; daughter, Leslie Enoch (Daniel) of Charlotte, NC; brother, Rev. George Enoch (Dorothy); sisters, Ezelle Enoch, Earlene Holt, Rebecca Enoch; grandchildren, Kayla Enoch, Johnathan Enoch, Jordan Enoch, Gabriel Enoch, Noah Enoch, Joshua Enoch; great grandchildren, Legend Brown and Saint Brown; brother in laws, John Best (Sharon), James Best, Cicero Lea; sister in laws, Ginger Williams (Mac), Mae Best, Eloise Best, Shirley Robinson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Verdie Bell Ray Enoch; brother, Herman Enoch and his sister Alama Louise Lea.
