John T. Laws, age 85, of Union, died peacefully Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the comfort of his family’s presence.He was born March 3, 1933 in Springfield, Illinois, the eighth child, to George and Nancy Laws. He married Alice Marie Cloud, his wife of 52 years, in Elkhart, Indiana on December 26, 1953.
She preceded him in death on September 29, 2006. John loved all of his family and friends. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force. John will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by son Randy (Kimberly Ann) Laws of Fremont, Indiana; granddaughter, Patty Laws of Elkhart, Indiana; great granddaughter, Madilyn Hunt; and a host of nieces, nephews and all other loved ones in his life.He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
