John T. Davis, age 85, of Green Forest, AR passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born January 4, 1931 in Franklin Parish, LA to the late Mattie and Lola Davis.
John served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a welder by trade and was a hardworking, loving father and grandfather for his family. John enjoyed tinkering and could fix anything that was broken. He loved yardwork and outdoor activities.
He is survived by his daughter Lola Maxwell of Green Forest, son, Joel Davis and wife Pat of Gilbert, LA, son, Timothy Davis, one brother, Tommy Davis of Bernice, LA and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sherri Davis, his ex-wife and 6 siblings.
