John T. “Butch” Beeler, 63, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Indianapolis. He was born March 28, 1949 in Trenton, MI to Elmer Lee and Cora Mae (Whited) Beeler.

A member of the Christian faith, he graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and worked as a paint specialist. John enjoyed fishing and participated in B.A.S.S. fishing tournaments.

He is survived by his children: Michelle (Wesley) Collins of Indpls.; Pam (Addison) (husband Dean) Weeks of Knoxville, TN; Amy Harris of Fortville; Brian Beeler of Indpls.; and Michael (Christine) Beeler of Indpls.; brothers Eddie “Flywheel” (June) Beeler of Maynardsville, TN and Paul (Sally) Beeler of Pendleton; sisters: Dot Steward and Lois Hubbs, both of Maynardsville, TN; and Robbie (Jerry) Propps and Gail Monday, both of Fortville; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda M. Beeler.
