Reid Jr., John Stanley, Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday, December 20, 2014. Mr. Reid was born September 19, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late John S. Reid Sr. and Viola Bunce Reid and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. He was a lifelong member of Kalamazoo Free Methodist Church.
He was an avid horseshoe player and loved camping. He was united in marriage to W. Isla Mantell Reid on April 27, 1949; she preceded him in death on January 4, 1994. He is survived by four children, Bob Janet Barnes Reid of Tennessee, Ruth Mike Tibbits of Texas, Barbara David Hart of Arizona and Rick Debbie Reid of Carson City, MI; seven grandchildren, Stacy, Sarah, Laura, Leslie, Aaron, Katie and Kassie; seven great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
