John “Sonny” J. Macchia, 79, of Toms River, NJ passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Sonny was a Tractor Trailer Driver and a member of the Teamsters Local 560 and 570, Union City, NJ.
He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Harring. Sonny is survived by his wife of 58 years Theresa (nee Rohlic), his daughter Catherine Macchia of North Arlington, NJ, a son John of Bayville, NJ, a brother Joseph Macchia, a granddaughter Heidi Tillberg and three great-grandchildren Neomi Jada, Kai and L.J.
