Skawinski, John C. Skawinski, age 85, of Shelton and formerly of Bridgeport, Trumbull and Boca Raton, Florida died July 11, 2005 at the Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. He was the devoted husband of 64 years to Wanda Kleczkowski Skawinski and the son of the late Walter and Bronislawa Dziwis Skawinski. John was born on January 21, 1920 in Ludlow, MA . He retired after 40 years with the Bridgeport Brass Company and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a Veteran of WWII and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Shelton VFW Post #10466. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Stanley and his wife, Sandra Skawinski of Monroe, his daughter, Barbara and her husband, Tom Samorajczyk of Shelton and five grandchildren, Jenifer and her husband, Ron Kryzanski of Shelton, Jeffrey and his wife, Debra Samorajczyk of Shelton, Kimberly and her husband, James Dorion of Naperville, Illinois, Melissa and her husband, Ken Kawakami and Brian Sibiski of Henderson, NV. He also leaves eight adoring great grandchildren, Laura, Kevin, Ashley, Julia, William Emma, Keala and Kai. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Carol Sibiski and three brothers, Stanley , Frank and Walter Skawinski.
