John Shepard 82 of Clinton passed away at his residence on Wednesday
Jan 23, 2013 at 7:00am. He was born on April 28, 1930 in Hillsdale to John
Shepard and Lura Cooke Shepard. He was a US Air Force Veteran during
the Korean War where he served as a photographer. He graduated in 1963
from Bebout Chiropratic College and opened his own Chiropratic office in
Cinton until he retired in 2011. He was a 20 year driver for the City of Clinton
Fire Department. He is a member of the Jerusalem #99 F&AM Lodge and
the Vermillion County Low Twelve Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Harlan Shepard, Bert
Shepard, Wayne Shepard and Gene Shepard.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Sollars Shepard of Clinton, three sons;
Rick & Sylvia Shepard of Arizona, Ron Shepard & Julia of Hillsdale and
Sean Shepard & fiance Kindra of Clinton, two daughters; Robin & Gil
Edwards of Dana and Toni & Curt Powers of Shelbyville, IN. Seven
grandchildren and one great grandson and also several nieces and nephews.
