John S. Hadaway, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Born in Kosse, TX, on May 10, 1927, he was the son of William Larkin Hadaway and Ann Seale Hadaway. A resident of Boerne since November of 2006, he had moved from Baton Rouge, LA, where he had lived for 41 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. A Veteran of WWII serving in the U. S. Navy, John was very athletic and loved to play golf, as well as playing bridge at the Kronkosky Center. He had retired in 1994 from Borden Chemical. Preceded in death by 2 sisters and his parents, Mr. Hadaway is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patsy Hadaway; daughter, Debbie Sanders and her husband, Ronald; son, Larry Hadaway and his wife, Mary Ann; 5 Granddaughters; 9 Great Grandchildren; sister, Doris Caskey; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
