John Sacarakis John Sacarakis passed away early on Sunday, January 2, 2011. He was born on February 21, 1919, the first son of George Sacarakis and Josephine Campanella Sacarakis. A life-long resident of Bethlehem, he graduated from Liberty High School and attended classes at Moravian College. He served in Civilian Conservation Corps. John was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation from 1937 until his retirement in 1977. For as many decades, he owned and managed housing/apartment units and small businesses in the Lehigh Valley.
